Live & In DevelopmentThe DAF CGOC is dedicated to developing future and current junior officers across the globe and supporting DAF senior leaders. Below are total force initiatives and ways to support today.
First Term Officer Course
FTOC equips first-term officers with the practical skills, mentorship, and reference materials needed in their first assignment. The Implementation Team welcomes new contributors year-round — from curriculum support to facilitation.
Thinktank
A DAF CGOC initiative in development. Published research with Air University and direct engagement with senior leaders are in scope. CGOs interested in contributing or senior leaders with ideas to submit are encouraged to reach out.
Penpal Program
The DAF CGOC Mentorship Program pairs cadets and new Lieutenants with an experienced CGO at their first duty station. Guidance, not oversight. AFROTC and USAFA cadre can refer cadets directly, and sign-up takes about two minutes.
